Marine Biochemists - Injection Boat Picture

Marine Biochemists has recently modified one of its spray boats to provide one of the most reliable and accurate application systems in the area. The system includes the following:

Global Positioning Technology for accurate speed, course bearing, and transect accuracy as well as accurate location marking capabilities
On-board instataneous depth determination
65 gallon, closed-system, chemical nurse tank
Digital chemical rate read-out for accurate chemical application
Computer generated charts created for each individual lake allowing adjustment of flow rates as they relate to changing depth and speed conditions
Heavy-duty, injection boom with weighted drops lines for consistancy, safety, and reliability

This same boat has also been modified to run twin rear spreaders for efficient and accurate granular application, and has the additional capabilities of being used as a traditional style or large- volume style spray vessel. At Marine Biochemists, we strive to be on the leading front of new advances in lake management techniques, and will continue to grow with the ever increasing need for more accurate and technologically correct application methods.

Recent improvements on this vessel since this picture include a new efficient 5 hp spray pump and a lighter synthetic boom to save on bow weight.
